The Club at Horseshoe Bay Resort sits in the rugged beauty of Texas Hill Country along the shores of Lake LBJ and features three Robert Trent Jones Sr. championship courses known collectively as the Texas Triangle. Slick Rock, the resort’s original course, is famous for the “Million Dollar Hole,” a dramatic par 4 played over a waterfall. Ram Rock, often called “The Challenger,” delivers one of the most demanding tests in Texas with narrow landing areas, rugged rock outcroppings, and elevated greens that reward disciplined shot making. Apple Rock offers a scenic contrast, playing across dramatic elevation changes and finishing along Lake LBJ with sweeping views and strategic risk and reward opportunities.
The Golf Club at Margaritaville Lake Resort sits along the shores of Lake Conroe, surrounded by tall pines and striking water features. Redesigned in 2007 by Dave Mar, Jay Riviere, and Jeffrey Blume, the course presents a balanced challenge with strategic doglegs, risk and reward holes, subtle breaks, and smooth putting surfaces that reward precision and thoughtful play.
