Oregon Golf Schools

Bird Golf Academy offers two distinct settings for Oregon golf schools, each shaped by the landscapes that make the Pacific Northwest such a compelling place to play. Cooler temperatures, open space, and a strong connection to the natural terrain create an environment that feels quieter, more focused, and ideal for improvement.

Our locations in Southern Oregon and Central Oregon each bring a different experience. One is defined by wetlands, forests, and mountain views, while the other leans into high desert terrain with wide sightlines and elevation changes. This contrast is part of what makes Oregon golf schools so effective, giving you the chance to work through different course conditions while staying consistent in your approach.

The pace of these locations supports the learning process. With fewer distractions and more space to stay engaged, it becomes easier to focus on your game and carry that progress onto the course.

Southern Oregon at Running Y Resort

Running Y Resort offers a setting that feels true to the landscape, with its Arnold Palmer Signature Course winding through wetlands, pine forests, and open meadows backed by the Cascade Mountains. It’s the only course of its kind in Oregon, and it shows in how naturally the layout fits the terrain.

The design follows Palmer’s philosophy of working with the land. Elevation changes, water features, and subtle contours shape each hole, creating a course that challenges you without feeling overbuilt. Multiple tee boxes keep it approachable for different skill levels, while still giving you plenty to work through during a round.

The environment adds to the experience. With more space, fewer distractions, and a slower pace, it becomes easier to stay focused and carry what you’re learning into real play. It’s a big part of why this setting works so well for players spending time at one of our Oregon golf schools.

Central Oregon at Eagle Crest Resort

Eagle Crest Resort brings a different look, set in the high desert just outside Redmond and within easy reach of Bend. The setting is more open, with wide views, dry air, and consistent conditions that give you a clear sense of how the ball is flying and reacting.

The resort offers three 18-hole courses along with an 18-hole putting course, giving you variety throughout your time there. The Ridge Course stands out, moving through ancient juniper forests with views of Smith Rock State Park and the Cascades. Generous fairways are paired with just enough strategy to keep you thinking through each shot.

The overall feel here is steady and predictable, which helps you stay engaged and build confidence as you work through different situations. For many players, that clarity is what makes this stop within our Oregon golf schools such a strong place to improve.
