Breathtaking Locations For Your Golf Instruction
Bird Golf offers two exceptional destinations for Arizona golf schools, each combining world-class instruction with premier resort environments designed for improvement. Arizona’s year-round sunshine and diverse landscapes make it one of the most sought-after regions in the country for focused, immersive golf instruction.
Our Arizona golf schools are set within some of the most recognized golf resorts in the country. Championship-caliber courses, expansive practice facilities, and full-service amenities create the ideal setting to work on your game while enjoying a complete golf travel experience. Every detail is designed to support your development, both during instruction and throughout your time on the property.
Phoenix and Sedona each bring a distinct identity to our Arizona golf schools. One offers a classic desert resort experience with multiple championship layouts, while the other provides a visually striking setting shaped by red rock formations and elevation changes. Both locations are purpose-built learning environments where expert instruction and exceptional surroundings come together to help you make lasting improvements in your game.
Phoenix at The Wigwam Resort
Our Phoenix school is located at The Wigwam Resort, a historic destination set across 440 acres of Sonoran Desert landscape. Recently named the best historic resort in the United States by Historic Hotels of America, The Wigwam blends tradition, scale, and comfort into a setting that works exceptionally well for focused instruction.
The resort features three championship-caliber golf courses, making it one of the most complete environments for an Arizona golf school. Two of the layouts were designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., each offering a different test. The Gold Course, often called “Arizona’s Monster,” is known for its demanding design and has hosted U.S. Open qualifiers. The Blue Course emphasizes precision and smart shot selection, while the Red Course offers a more traditional layout with a strong finishing stretch that challenges every part of your game.
Off the course, the experience is just as well-rounded. The Wigwam includes more than 300 guest rooms, a 26,000-square-foot spa, multiple pools, tennis courts, and a range of dining options. The space and layout of the resort allow you to stay focused on your improvement while still enjoying the comfort of a full-service stay.
Sedona Golf Resort
Sedona delivers a completely different feel, offering one of the most visually striking settings you’ll find among Arizona golf schools. Surrounded by towering red rock formations and open desert skies, the landscape creates an immediate sense of focus the moment you step onto the property.
The course at Sedona Golf Resort is shaped by elevation changes and natural contours that reward smart decision-making. It is not a layout that relies on power alone. Instead, it encourages thoughtful shot selection, controlled distances, and a clear plan for each hole. Every round becomes part of the learning process, reinforcing the work done during instruction.
The pace of the environment, combined with the design of the course, helps you stay engaged without distraction. Working alongside our PGA and LPGA instructors, you begin to see how strategy, consistency, and confidence come together on the course in a way that carries well beyond your time in Sedona.
