Joseph Lussier

Joseph “Joe” Lussier is a PGA Professional entering his 17th year of teaching the game of golf. Born and raised in Virginia, Joe now resides in Daytona Beach, Florida, where he coaches at LPGA International. Since beginning his coaching career in 2009, he spent 13 years at 1757 Golf Club, where he built a strong reputation for his dedication to students of all ages and skill levels. His greatest passion lies in guiding players on their journey of improvement and helping them develop a lifelong love for the game.

As both a coach and a competitor, Joe brings a wealth of experience to his students. He qualified for the PGA Professional Championship in 2019, and in 2025 advanced to final qualifying for both the U.S. Open and the British Open Championships—a testament to his commitment to competing at the highest level. Joe also takes great pride in his students’ success; most recently, he coached and caddied for a student who competed in the 2024 and 2025 U.S. Junior Amateur Championships, exemplifying his dedication to player development both on and off the course.

Joe’s coaching philosophy centers on a positive, fun, and engaging approach. He leverages cutting-edge tools such as video analysis to simplify swing mechanics, and works with students on course management, mental preparedness, and tailored practice plans. For Joe, golf is a lifelong pursuit meant to be enjoyed, and he is committed to helping every student elevate their game—with energy, expertise, and enthusiasm.
