I just returned from the 3-day golf school in Phoenix. I wanted to let you know that my experience was FANTASTIC! It exceeded all expectations.
Shirley Furlong was my instructor. She was phenomenal. She explained and re-explained when needed. She had a great balance of serious golf skill instruction and goofing around and just having fun. Shirley had some club changes for me and even let me use her equipment during the school. She was flexible and accommodating to what we wanted to learn but made sure we covered the skills we needed. I learned things I had no idea I needed to learn. Shirley was amazing!
The practice facilities were perfect. From the driving range to the bunkers and putting greens – it was all great. The endless supply of water was also greatly appreciated!
The staff at the Wigwam was the nicest staff I have ever experienced. Literally every person we came in contact with was wonderful – from in and around the pro shop to the main resort staff. All we had to do was mention we were there for Bird Golf School and they knew exactly what we needed to do and where we needed to be. I can’t say enough about how friendly and helpful everyone was during our stay.
The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic. I couldn’t be more impressed with Shirley as an instructor. And as a person, she was just fun to hang out with. I can’t wait to come back.
