Phoenix, AZ – (July 2007) Whirlwind Golf Club and the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa recently agreed to terms on a new ten year contract with The Bird Golf Academy, the on-site golf instructional team offering a wide array of services including personalized coaching, the finest PGA and LPGA professionals, comprehensive packaging and unparalleled customer attention.

The long term contract, signed on June 23, solidifies the beneficial partnership forged between Whirlwind Golf Club, Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa, The Bird Golf Academy and the Wild Horse Pass Development Authority over the past year. The new contract provides the foundation for the Bird Golf Academy to officially name Whirlwind Golf Club as their flagship location and offers the stability to develop long-term programming.

Currently boasting 16 satellite locations throughout the United States, The Bird Golf Academy has made Whirlwind Golf Club its home since August of 2006. Bird Golf’s offices are presently located in an off-site facility but plans are in the works to move them to Whirlwind Golf Club in the near future.
