Florida Golf Schools

Bird Golf Academy offers a collection of Florida golf schools set across some of the most desirable golf destinations in the country. With a subtropical climate, year-round playing conditions, and a mix of coastal and inland landscapes, Florida provides an ideal setting for players looking to spend focused time on their game.

Our locations in Palm Coast, Orlando, Boca Raton, and Southwest Florida each bring a different style of golf and atmosphere. Some are built around oceanfront views and resort-style layouts, while others lean into classic inland designs shaped by natural terrain. That variety allows you to experience different course conditions and playing styles while working through a consistent, structured approach to improvement.

The setting plays a big role in the experience. Time on the course is balanced with time to reset, whether that means being near the water, enjoying the pace of a resort property, or simply having the space to stay focused. It’s part of what makes Florida golf schools such a natural fit for players who want to improve while still enjoying the environment around them.

Our Florida Golf School Features

Palm Coast at Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa

Palm Coast offers one of the most striking coastal settings among Florida golf schools. Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa sits along the Atlantic Ocean, where the layout is shaped by ocean winds, elevation changes, and dramatic shoreline views.

Students have access to two championship courses designed by Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson, each bringing a different look and challenge. The Ocean Course features several holes that play directly along the water, while the Conservatory Course offers a more expansive layout with strategic bunkering and wider sightlines.

Accommodations at The Lodge place you just steps from the ocean, creating a setting that keeps you close to both the course and the coastline throughout your stay.

Orlando at Mission Resort + Club

Our Orlando location is set at Mission Resort + Club, a historic property known for its rolling terrain and classic design. Tucked into Central Florida’s countryside, it offers a different pace compared to the coastal locations.

The resort features 36 holes of championship golf, with layouts that incorporate elevation changes rarely found in Florida. The variety between the courses gives you the chance to work on different shot types and on-course strategies throughout your time there.

The quieter setting allows for a more focused experience, while still being within reach of the broader Orlando area.

Boca Raton at The Club at Boca Pointe

Boca Raton brings a more private, country club feel to the Florida golf schools experience. The Club at Boca Pointe features an 18-hole championship course designed by Golforce Inc., a division of Jack Nicklaus Golf Services.

The layout rewards precision and consistency, making it a strong setting for players who want to sharpen control and course management. The environment is more contained and structured, which helps keep the focus on your game.

After your time on the course, accommodations at The Boca Raton provide a high-end resort experience, with access to dining, spa, and coastal amenities.

Southwest Florida at Old Corkscrew Golf Club

Old Corkscrew offers a more natural, secluded setting among Florida golf schools. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the course is widely regarded as one of his most complete layouts, known for its routing through preserved land rather than residential development.

Tall oak, pine, and cypress trees frame each hole, creating a quiet environment where the focus stays on the course in front of you. The design challenges both execution and decision-making, with a layout that rewards patience and control.

Paired with accommodations at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point, this location balances a pure golf setting with the comfort of a full-service resort, rounding out the overall experience.

Charlotte Harbor at Aileron Golf Club, Sunseeker Resort

Our newest Florida location is set at Aileron Golf Club, just minutes from Sunseeker Resort in Charlotte Harbor. The setting brings a more modern feel, with a layout built around Florida’s native landscape and a strong focus on player development.

The course features wide playing corridors, clean sightlines, and a design that rewards solid fundamentals. Practice facilities include an expansive all-grass tee and a dedicated short game area, giving you the space to work on every part of your game in a structured way.

Sunseeker Resort adds to the overall experience with a contemporary, full-scale resort environment. With multiple dining options, waterfront views, and a wide range of amenities, it creates a setting that fits naturally within our Florida golf schools while offering a slightly different, more modern pace.
