Teaching Philosophy

I believe that golf is a game that can be enjoyed by everyone. And, most importantly, everyone should have fun while playing golf. There is no swing that will fit every player in the same manner. There is no "right or wrong". Each player must identify their strengths and weaknesses and build a swing which will maximize the use of their strengths. I believe that the golf swing is a practiced rotation of the body with the hands and arms helping aid the rotation. It's very important to get to know the person behind the swing. The player's skill level, athletic ability, body type, personality and ability to learn new information will all be factors in creating the path to an improved golf game. My students learn how to practice as well as how to play on the course. My goal is to bring a positive attitude to the course everyday. I owe it to my students to bring a relaxed, easy going way to learn how to improve their golf game.
