Teaching Philosophy

Ivan believes that golf is a game that parallels life, with its ups and downs, golf helps us develop and shape our character. Most importantly, everyone should enjoy playing this great game. There is no swing that will fit every player in the same manner. Each player must identify their strengths and weaknesses and build a swing which will maximize the use of their strengths. He believes that the golf swing is a rotation of the upper body pivoting on the hips and legs, with the arms and hand swinging in synchronization, to strike the golf ball to the intended target. It's very important to get to know the person behind the swing. The player's skill level, athletic ability, body type, personality any injury or disability, so they may reach their potential. My students learn how to practice as well as how to play on the course. My goal is to help bring a positive attitude to the course every day by making the game enjoyable
