Just a 2 hour drive from Los Angeles airport and an hour and a half from San Diego, Bird Golf school students will relish the peace and serenity of this marvelous retreat. A legendary Hot Springs Resort which allows our golf school students to immerse themselves in the rustic aura that surrounds the resort and the magnificent Championship golf course.

Idyllic. Calm. Peaceful. All appropriate adjectives that describe this legendary golf resort that was first built in 1844. Luminaries such as Mary Pickford, Douglas Fairbanks, Charlie Chaplin, Clark Gable and John Wayne were frequent visitors to this rustic hideaway. Today it retains the charming ambience that has made it a renowned Western landmark.

As a location for your Southern California golf school, it is hard to imagine a setting more perfect and serene. The private golf course is a championship facility that has hosted prestigious events like the SCGA Senior Amateur Championship as well as local U.S. Open qualifiers.

There are miles and miles of spectacular walking trails, three oversized pools (offering either hot mineral water or fresh water), championship tennis courts and exercise and aerobics facilities. The marvelous Equestrian Center offers riding lessons, guided trails and breakfast, lunch or dinner rides. The Spa is a must visit! Take time out to treat yourself well and soothe away tension with a massage, facial or body wrap and ….completely un-wind. There are no phones or televisions in the rooms at the resort (although a fully equipped business center allows you to take care of the things that are absolutely necessary!).

Anza Dining Room

Our students agree that this is the perfect site for our San Diego golf schools. Students stay in oversized casita suites that have a separate living room, fireplace and balcony.

The resort also features two dining options. The Anza Dining room in the main lodge features fine dining in a casual relaxed atmosphere and the Country Club Grill (overlooking the golf course) serves casual meals.
