Bird Golf Academy students enjoy two 18-hole Championship courses on the resort property. Both courses, the Valley and the Palms, were designed by world renowned architect, Ted Robinson, "the King of waterscapes". Robinson has masterfully incorporated 35 acres of sparkling streams, lagoons and crystalline water cascades into his brilliant creations, framed with the spectacular Santa Rosa mountains in the background. Our Palm Springs golf schools students also enjoy a superb, private practice area to work on their games.

Another fantastic golf feature is "The Greens at Desert Springs". The Greens at Desert Springs is an 18-hole championship putting course that was the nation's first, all-natural turf putting course. Complete with bunkers, water hazards, strategically placed trees, and rolling "fairways", the par 54, 1,435-foot course is truly "golf in miniature," but big-time fun for individuals and families.

Bird Golf school students enjoy the luxurious rooms at the resort which include, a private balcony and other amenities synonymous with the JW brand. Each room features custom bedding and triple sheeted beds, bathrooms with limestone floors, shower and tub and spectacular views of the beauty surrounding you.

There are also extensive recreational facilities on property including a Championship tennis facility, fitness center, inviting boutiques and the highly acclaimed European Health Spa. The 38,000 square foot Spa, was named in Travel and Leisure magazines' "World's Best Spas" (#20), and "Top Spas Overall" (#5), lists in 2003, and offers a full array of services.

Go for a gondola ride

In the midst of the 450 acres of beautifully maintained landscapes and lakes of the resort, you will enjoy the gardens and birds that flutter throughout the grounds. Exotic parrots, macaws and cockatoos inhabit the magnificent lobby with the feel of a breezy tropical paradise. On the lower lobby level, a gondola awaits you to board for a boat ride to your favorite resort dining spot or an afternoon tour.

Bird Golf school students have eleven fantastic dining options to choose from. The gourmet, Northern Italian menu of the Ristorante Tuscany offers an elegant taste of Tuscan cuisine and an award-winning wine list. Mikado Japanese Steak House offers sumptuous Japanese Teppan-yaki in a delightful setting of Japanese gardens and running streams. Home to the largest saltwater aquarium in the Palm Springs Valley, there is literally, a restaurant choice for every palate.
