Each guest room is exquisitely decorated in Mediterranean inspired décor and also features a balcony with either views of the golf course or courtyard. Every luxury detail is part of the design of each room and includes spacious bathrooms with vast marble and glass encased showers.

Luxury Bedding and Furnishings

Originally designed in 1957, the golf course is a revered venue and is nestled amongst a myriad of coconut, royal palm and banyan trees. In fact, it has been rated as South Florida's only, 5 star golf course. Re-designed by legendary designer, Joe Lee, in 2000, the course features rolling fairways, Tif Eagle greens and is immaculately maintained. Stretching almost 7000 yards it offers a test to the best golfers but is very playable for players of all skill levels.

Five Star Championship Golf

Another superb on-site amenity is the Spa at The Diplomat. Our golf school students can enjoy the 30,000 square foot spa which features 22 treatment rooms. Signature facial and body services are offered. Separate men's and ladies locker rooms, steam rooms, saunas and whirlpools are available. There is also a private outdoor pool and a comprehensive fitness center. The fitness center has the latest in Cybex cardio equipment, each with its own LCD flat screen televisions.

Bird Golf students can dine at the superb Links restaurant and Lounge which looks out on the course. Additionally, there are seven other dining options at The Diplomat's sister property, the Westin Diplomat. Just a short ride (the golf resort has shuttle service twice every hour) to the Westin, which rests on the Atlantic Ocean, our students can also enjoy the award-winning, Hollywood Prime Steakhouse, Asian inspired, Aizia or the upscale and trendy island inspired, Nikki Marina.
