The Hurricane Pro Golf Tour

There is a new professional golf Tour being introduced called The Hurricane Pro Golf Tour.

The Hurricane Pro Golf Tour is a developmental mini tour based out of Hilton Head, SC.  Their main goal is to provide their players the best forum of competition to improve their game and ultimately help spring board these players to higher levels of competition.  The biggest advantage the Tour offers is the close proximity of each event, resulting in less travel expenses and more time to practice.  The Hurricane Pro Golf Tour features three divisions: Men, Women, and Senior (45+).  Amateurs are eligible to play, but must hold a current handicap of 8 or lower.

The Hurricane Pro Golf Tour’s all-inclusive membership is unmatched and the only one of its kind among professional tours.  With each membership fee the participant receives:  free Under Armour apparel, full golf membership to four golf courses, discounted entry fees, private member only range, free Track Man analysis, a season long points race with payouts, two NGA Pro Series Memberships available, and the chance to qualify for the NGA Hurricane Cup.

The season ending NGA Hurricane Cup is a Ryder Cup styled team event which is expense free for the players and each player is guaranteed at least $1,000. The Tour also offers discounted lodging at their events which further enables their members to save on travel expenses.

The 2014 Spring Series is made up of 13 events, all within a half hour drive of Hilton Head, SC.  The schedule features four 18-hole events, eight 54-hole events (including a Match Play and Stableford event), and a 72-hole Shootout which will have a cut after each round that will add to the excitement for the viewers and stress for the players.  This 72-hole Shootout with be broadcast to nearly 40 million homes via the TV Show, “Tee It Up” with host Jimmy Hanlin on FOX Sports Network. This further exposure is another way that the Tour offers its members much needed exposure to competitive professional golf.

The Hurricane Pro Golf Tour pays back its members an impressive 85% of entry fees, which is significantly more than most other professional Tours. The Hurricane Tour has been created by Todd Brown, Executive VP / Director of Business Development with Brown Golf Management and Travis Kreiger, who is also Brown Golf’s Director of Marketing.

The Hurricane Pro Golf Tour has already acquired a very impressive list of sponsors who include, Wilson Staff Golf Company, the Jacobson Turf Company, Under Armour, John Deere, Event-Man Tournament Software, Eagle Watch Golf and Cross Fit 843.

The Tour has already had their first two events which have been very successfully received and there are 11 more events still to be played in the next three months.
