  1. From a standing position take a deep breath in and swing your left arm overhead and behind your back with your elbow pointing to the sky. With your right hand grab the top of your left elbow and gently press downward (fig 7). Hold this position for at least 30 seconds and breathe deeply. With each exhale gently push down on your elbow. Figure 7.1 shows back view of this posture.
  2. Gently bring both arms to your side, alternate arms and repeat.

Repeat twice
