Play the Courses that Golf Legends Have Walked

The centerpieces of Seaview are the two Championship golf courses that are perhaps even more steeped in tradition than the resort. Foremost of the two courses is The Bay course that was designed by the legendary, Donald Ross. A links-style course that meanders around Reed's Bay, with the ocean as a backdrop on many of its holes, the Bay is a masterpiece. Classic mounding and pot bunkers, with small greens combined with the ocean's prevailing winds make this a true test of links golf.

By contrast, the Pines course is set amid huge New Jersey pines that frame each hole. An inspired, parkland setting originally designed by Toomey & Flynn in 1929, the course features narrow bentgrass fairways and varying shapes to each hole. With each course having its own distinct charm, it gives our Golf Academy students a unique variety. Our golf school students also enjoy a private driving range area, with multiple short game practice facilities to hone their skills. The golf facilities are managed by Troon Golf, the world leader of luxury golf course management.

Seaview Pines Golf Course

You walk in the footsteps of golf's greatest players when you play at Seaview. Sam Snead won the 1942 PGA Championship. Snead beat Jim Turnsea by holing a miraculous chip shot on the 35^th hole (the PGA Championship was played in match-play format in those days). Snead held a special fondness for Seaview and this was the first of his 7 Major Championships. The "Slammer" would call his win here as his "greatest thrill in golf".

Home to the PGA Championship & LPGA ShopRight Classic

Golf's royalty has always been a presence at Seaview and in the modern era, this grand resort was the host of the LPGA's, ShopRite Classic for 11 years. Winners include LPGA and World Golf Hall of Fame members, Betsy King and Juli Inkster and the incomparable, Annika Sorenstam who was a three-time Champion of the tournament.

Seaview has all of the amenities that you would expect at a classic resort including restaurants, the Red Door Spa by Elizabeth Arden, tennis courts and swimming pools. Our New Jersey golf schools students enjoy their newly redecorated guest room that feature luxury bedding and linens, high-speed internet access and individually controlled climate sensors.

Seaview is only 8 miles from the bright lights and action that is Atlantic City. Atlantic City also offers our golf school students a host of activities including their world famous casinos, the Boardwalk, and a multitude of fine dining options.
